I happened to run across an article (source) today about a new social networking start-up that does all of the social networking for you. It's called Scoutle and it uses spiders and web crawlers (called Scouts) to identify people in their network that share your interests.
Scoutle is based in the Netherlands, so the English is a little "off" and the set-up is slightly difficult to navigate. But, since I am like most people who belong to way too many social networks, I welcome one that will essentially do all the work for me.
Although I haven't quite figured out how Scoutle works, apparently I have already had 140 meetings with other members of the network. Cool!
If you join Scoutle, here's my profile page. It looks like fun and there aren't very many people on it yet -- at least not mothers.

A network that does the work for you is great especially if you are like me and have too many to keep up with. Plus side is that you can open up your blog to tons of people with an interest in what you do, so you can step outide of the specific community if you tend to stay with mom or parenting communities.
That's what drew me to this social network. If they can do the work for me, I'm all for it. I can't wait to see how this will work.
